Aggregate debt to increase says S&P

Standard & Poor's ratings services expects the aggregate debt of Malaysian companies to grow over the next 12 months due to sustained capital expenditure and dividends, said its credit analyst Xavier Jean.

He said that capital expenditure and dividend payment among 24 companies reviewed by S and P is expected to be high in 2014 while revenue growth slowed.
