Aftershocks Continue to Rattle Kathmandu

Tremors following Nepal’s 7.9 magnitude earthquake last Saturday are prompting throngs of people to leave the capital city, Kathmandu. As rumors abound of second possible quake and the spread of disease, buses and trucks are jammed with people trying to leave the city and get to the countryside. Many people lost their houses and others are too terrified of aftershocks to return home. Many say they were desperate for aid and information on what to do next. teleSUR
