Afghan forces 'ready' to assume control

Afghanistan's government inisists its forces are ready to assume control from NATO troops to fight the Taliban.

The 350,000-strong Afghan National Security Force is expected to take over secutity from NATO later this year.

But soldiers have told Al Jazeera they don't have the resources to push back a resurgent Taliban.
