AERIA is a rock band from Lima, Peru. Formed in 2009, it began its career launching a 4-song EP in 2011 and a single in 2012, which received good reviews among local media and audiences. Between 2013 and 2014, the band recorded its debut album 'Naciente', which received positive acclaim and was named by media in the country and the region as a must-have, breakthrough record that gave Peruvian rock a new face. Produced by the band itself and mastered by Andrés Mayo (winner of 2 Latin Grammy Awards and sound engineer for many of South America's most important artists), the LP transmits the band's energy and versatility along its 10 tracks. AERIA has participated in several competitions, winning ULima Rock 2013, reaching the top 3 of a World Cup held by Brazilian website Yo No Hablo Su Lingua, and being a finalist of Hard Rock Cafe's Viva Rock Latino in 2014 and the Norte Rock contest organized by Acustirock and Radio Comas in 2013.
