Aere Blackwind - Blackmoor Bridge

The Blackmoor Bridge,
a path of stone,
the only home,
I've ever known.

A place of sorrow,
a place of grief,
it's ghastly pose,
gives me relief.

For where I went,
each place shone joy,
it gave me promise,
I was enthralled.
But what it swore,
it did not keep,
it lied to me,
and made me weep.
So leave I did,
my heart betrayed,
look back I'd not,
I just ran scared.

So here I am,
on the barren wall,
I hold myself,
my hope no more,
but fear I not,
for I am home,
and now I walk,
these tear stained stones.
