Advait Rege - I fly

Do you remember the last time you flew

Glided over the land and the sea
Swooped down to take a closer look

And turned just as you came close to hitting the ground

Rode the currents
Let the wind take you wherever it wished

Went high up – higher then you have been ever before
To that point where you could see the space
And could See the Earth as a WHOLE planet..

You probably don’t remember doing it..

I do, I have seen it, and I am not an astronaut – not even close

In my mind, I fly…
And I keep flying till I get tired from my sleep and decide it is time to wake up

And trudge to work..
