Adroit Angel - Long Gone........

walking by the sea
feeling the breeze fly so free
feeling the the crystal sand beneath my soul
reminder, of my vows
feeling the waves brush underneath
reminder, of what lies beneath
the wind so smoothly flying
whispering words, i spoke crying
these not only bring happiness
but memories, to which i refer as mistress
closing my eyes, i feel the wind piercing
my heart, where my past is still flowing
open my eyes, open my eyes
stupidly welcoming those thoughts, that really hurt
those footsteps printed on the sand, footsteps fading away
print the pages of my life, fresh till today
my past may long be gone
those they are treasures, i closely own
kept secretly, kept safely
in a dark corner, of my life story
every step taken in the present
fades like the moon, at its crescent...
