Adidas Cancels "Shackle Shoes"
Description
Adidas is cancelling its JS Roundhouse Mid Handcuffs sneakers, less than five days after previewing them on its Facebook page. The shoes were criticized for their resemblance to the shackles associated with slavery and chain gangs, with some even going as far as calling them the "Amistad Originals."
