ADDITIONAL CASH AID FOR POOR

Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno said the government is considering giving a P1,000 cash subsidy for two months for some 9.3 million indigents to help them cope with rising prices of goods.

In an interview at the annual reception for the banking community in Manila on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, he said the government has already identified the funding sources.
