Addictive Tech Industry losing its charm

Description
There are three main evaluations of these big tech companies.
The first thing is that it is destroying the younger generation. Social media shows promise to put an end to the loneliness of the people but actually, people who spend too much time on the smartphone will feel the temporary removal of feelings such as loneliness, depression, and anxiety, rather it can actually make you feel even worse over a longer period of time.
Some scientists and child advocates believe that children and young adults, in particular, may be susceptible to tech addiction.
Texting and other such technologies give you more control over your social interactions with others but also lead to fewer interactions and less engagement with the actual real world. Teens who spend three or more hours a day on electronic devices such as smartphones are more likely to suffer from a risk factor such as Suicidal tendency, Depression. This probability is increased in the case of female teens.
The second thing about the tech industry is that it is causing this addiction to people on purpose for the sole reason of making money from them. These tech companies properly understand what causes the dopamine to rise in our brain and due to that, they make their products with “hijacking techniques” that makes us happy and release dopamine.
Some addiction specialists say that people are addicted to technology, which they say can affect the brain in the same manner as over-dependence on alcohol or drugs does.
According to an open letter to tech company Apple by a group of worried investors, an average American child receives his or her first smartphone at age of10, and usually, teens spend more than 4.5 hours per day on their smartphones, not counting the time spent on texting and talking. Nearly 80 percent of teens said they check their phones at least every hour.
Several former employees of tech companies such as Google and Facebook say tech companies intentionally created technology designed to catch users in order to make money by selling their data.
These tech companies want their consumers constantly to be drawn back to their phones. They want them to use it in particular ways and for long periods of time. Because that’s how they make their money.
The third thing is that there are very few tech companies such as Apple, Amazon, Google, and Facebook which are causing a near monopoly and use their power to enter into the life of their users.
