Adarsh Society Scam Part 1

Simpreet Singh, the thirty-year-old postgraduate in social work is working with Medha Phatkar since 2003 and has been working for social moment of slum dwellers ghar bachao andholan.
According to Singh the facts came to light after he filed an RTI seeking information from Collector, Navy and Army related to allotment of land to Adarsh society and asked for the entire file pertaining to the society “It took over four months to get access to the files and it just opened the Pandora box. The powerful bureaucrats violated the norms at every point in the name of Kargil widows.”
