Actor faces backlash after alleged rape joke on TV

Actor Mohd Fauzi Mohd Nawawi has sparked outrage on the internet over a viral talk show clip of his comments on filming a rape scene involving co-star Raja Farah Raja Aziz in the 2007 film 'Anak Halal'.

Netizens, including the All Women’s Action Society Malaysia (Awam), took to social media to slam the actor for allegedly making jokes about rape.

In a tweet, Awam said the actor, alongside the talk show hosts and guests, was alluding to rape as a kink.
