One of the most powerful healing sources on the planet is the sun - and in Thailand, we've got loads of it. Sunshine has been found to be a powerful healing agent, a germ killer, and relaxation medium.

Studies have shown careful sunshine exposure is directly related to good health. Sunshine positively impacts the immune system and has been used in the treatment of various skin diseases, blood related diseases, nervous disorders, and to get over depression.

Of course we all know that too much sun can cause skin cancer and other complications, but a 15 minute sun bath mid-morning or late afternoon can do wonders for your health.

That's what we recommend for our cleansing clients. During non-peak sun hours, you can take a brief sun bath without using toxic sun creams... my favorite thing is to use a thin layer of the locally pressed coconut oil we have at the resort.

Sunshine is more powerful the closer you are to the equator, obviously, so a 40-minute sun bath in the U.K. is about the same as a 15-minute sun bath here in Thailand.

Even when you're NOT on holiday, try to get some sun at least 3 times per week - not just for a tan, but for your health too!
