I wish I could turn the lights off
Turn off the light of love
Turn off the light of hurt
Even hurt is light it makes you strong
With all these negative and positive lights consuming me
I'm torn in between happiness and sadness
I'm happy I'm at peace with you
I'm sad because the peace has brought with it hurt
Peace doesn't love me anymore
Peace doesn't trust me anymore
Peace isn't concerned about me anymore
Peace doesn't want time with me anymore
The absence of peace tortured me
The presence of peace is killing me slowly
Sometimes I think I was more at peace when my emotions weren't at peace
Now those no guilt, spite n longing, I have a new fight
For a long time I've been fighting that you love me again
I wish we could start over, erase everything
Maybe just maybe, the road would be a lil different
Maybe the love would never die
