Sita (Sharada) is a daughter of a rich and proud business man Raghava Rao (S.V. Ranga Rao). He gives more importance to money and person status in society. Sita falls in love with Ramu (Krishnam Raju) who is an orphan and poor. Sita's father Raghava Rao is not wiiling to perform Sita and Rmau's wedding. But Sita marries him and leaves the home forever. Her mother Annapurna (Anjali Devi) is trying to convience him. However Raghava Rao accept her daughter? Or will he break the relation with his daughter, forms the rest of the story.
