The man she says I'll never be.
The man who's focus is abolished
The moment she strolls in.

To the woman I love
And the man for which she longs,
That loves her unconditionally
Unquestioningly, uncontrollably.

To the man she loves
The man I strive to be.
That kills himself over her,
Every day,
And makes himself her pawn.
In every way.
To win her love,
To keep her.

To the man she loves,
The man I want to be,
Because as it falls
She fails to see
The man she loves
Is me.
