Abekah Emmanuel - Friendship
0 Views • Oct 29, 2014
Description
In all generations of life,
But many are those who have condemned your influence
And your actions which are mostly feigned.
You have been alive, since time immemorial,
Your presence brings fear, panic and joy.
Others can leave without you,
Maybe, by nature, they are meant to be
But me, surrounded by mountains of burdens
And heaps of troubles,
You clean that never ending tears in my eyes,
And sprinkles laughter on my heart.
You have been the foundation of my happiness,
Yes! the reason behind my smiles,
Even when i walk a mile,
You accompany me,
And inspires me not to surrender
But face my troubles as a man.
Sometimes I wonder,
How my life would have been in your absence,
The support, the advice, the time
And the energy you waste
Just for my sake.
