Abdul Wahab - Christopher Columbus

It is not like that I do not like
The flora and fauna of America
As I know this is a land of vast wealth
And a land of wonder
But the attitude of Christopher Columbus Who
Thinks that this land belongs to him and his gang
As he puts his feet upon
And touches the soil before anybody else
But he forgets that before him
I dream of a land and that is America
And I have been living there
Much before he comes as a traveller
And he knows very well about him and his reality
As I know about mine
Still he is adamant
And refuses to see reason
When I ask him to relinquish his claim
He relinquishes but logic
And quickly resorts to arms.
