Abby Sowers - Changing again

Well here it goes
I'm changing again
just like the weather
accept this change will be for good
hate and misery are slowly leaving
icy winds and snow come and go
slowly light returns, love returns
i feel the world warming
i feel my heart beating
coming back from the dead and dormant stage it was in
becoming bright and happy
a little
there is still a dropp of blackness here and there
it helped me survive through so much
how can i just throw it away
the snow and ice is leaving
hopefully life will be kind
as it was in the beginning
