Aaron Hernandez Kills Himself in Jail

Wow, convicted murderer and former New England Patriots tight end, Aaron Hernandez, has reportedly been found dead in his jail cell.

According to Us Magazine, he was discovered “hanging in his cell by corrections officers at the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in Massachusetts at approximately 3:05 am."

Hernandez was apparently transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

It's speculated that Hernandez killed himself as he was the single occupier of his cell in general population housing.

The former NFL player was convicted of first-degree murder in 2015 after the shooting death of Odin Lloyd in 2013. He was serving a life sentence with no possibility of parole.

According to TMZ, his former team, The New England Patriots, are still scheduled to visit the White House on Wed. April 19, despite news of the suicide.
