AAP protest against Modi 365 days

Aam Aadmi Party today protested against the Narendra Modi government's 365-day tenure at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. AAP attacked the government saying that BJP backtracked on promises made to the public during the elections. The protestors marched towards Parliament Street, where policemen tried to stop them. A strong security presence could be seen at the protest venue. AAP has been at loggerheads with the Centre. Yesterday, the AAP moved a resolution to ignore the MHA notification after terming notification as unconstitutional and invalid. The AAP government also alleged that the Centre was encroaching on state powers.
