Description

Ah how it hurts, for nothing I do
Is going to keep me beside you
See how it stings, for no words I tell
Myself, can make me believe that all ends well
And no dreams I dream are comfort enough
And no parting has ever been just as tough
For each word I utter, and each smile I smile
Brings me down that road by another mile
And every time I laugh when you are joking
I can hear the gatekeeper knocking
He looks at his watch and gives me a glance
And nods as if to say "This is your last chance"
I find myself forced to choose, and only time will tell
Whether my choice was chosen well
Which path must I walk down? Need I really bother?
For I'd always wish I'd chosen the other
But this much I know, and I swear it's true
I'd choose a lifetime of pain than one without you
