A sad homecoming for Whitney

Whitney Houston's body is back in her hometown of Newark before being finally laid to rest.

In a last journey befitting a pop idol, the singer's coffin was transported to New Jersey from Los Angeles by private plane and gold-painted hearse.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at the Baptist church where she first sang in public.
