Description

It's a protest that goes on for hundreds of miles.

Chilean national Ignacio Carrasco sets out on a protest march across the Chilean desert to call attention to shortcomings of the healthcare he received after he was run over by a car in 2007 when he left work.

One of his main grievances is the refusal of the healthcare system to provide him with morphine he needs to counter pain and help him walk.

The use of morphine, even for medical use, is prohibited in Chile.

He doesn't want others to suffer the way he has.
