Dedication:
An improvised fingerstyle instrumental piece performed on a nylon-string classical guitar, this piece is dedicated to my son Malik. Malik is strong, quiet, and determined.

The message in this music is personal. It's straight up and honest. Someday, I will explain the meaning to him. As always, improvisation is a way to express feelings that transcend words. I would have it no other way.

This piece of music is for his birthday as that day is always special. It is a reminder of him coming into our lives during a turbulent time.

He will be a great man someday as the lessons he has learned in his young life have made him wiser than most his age.
