A.J. McKinley - The Devil's Clock
0 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
Unclear images within the mirror of a beauty that is not you.
I dance and dance yet she does not come.
Before my eyes age replaces the young.
A dream; I skip and within I flee.
A love so pure it can never be.
Tick tick goes the faithful clock in a backward glance
Run run my child for the dark holds your only chance.
Deosil now the lonely clock does chime.
A dreamer dreams to make you mine.
