A Bell 222 helicopter crashed in Huntington Beach on October 11, injuring five people, including three pedestrians. The incident occurred near Beach Boulevard and Twin Dolphins Drive, ahead of the Cars ’N Copters event. According to the event’s website, a “Helicopter Landing Party” had been scheduled for the same day as the crash. Despite the incident, the event proceeded as planned on Sunday, October 12.
