A. C. Robison - Lake Trail
1 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
They see only the mask that goes before
Even those whom have peeled away
and seen my demons and battle scars
I fear not even they know who I am
How can they?
When even I, am lost in this abyss.
The waters lurk around concealing and drowning me.
I am told if I move maybe I’ll find shallower water.
But what if there is none?
I thought my feet were on solid ground,
But as the water rises I wonder why.
Is this my fault, am I to cast myself out.
If it is tell me, then it will be done, and I’ll be let be.
