Cast your minds to the scene where you have just arrived in Paris and you are now on the Champs Elysees in elegant lounge bar. As the waitress takes cocktails to the tables, in the air is the smell of the fine french cuisine is rolling over to you. You´re sat at the table and relaxing and now the sound of the music is now drifting into your mind, all in a harmonious flow with all the movement of everything going on around you. The hypnotic trip hop and lounge styled beats moving your head whilst the sounds of the muted jazz horns, lounge piano keys and double basses take you on a blissful journey, as you cast you eyes around just watching everything go by in perfect time with the music.

Welcome to Abstract Reality from French artists Yann Lebreuilly and Alex Tassel, who together are 9 In Common. Alex Tassel has an impressive background in music, touring with people such as Manu Katché, Dj Cam, Stephane Huchard and Laurent de Wilde. He has recorded with people like Guru, Franck Avitabile, André Ceccarelli, Baptiste Trotignon Marcus Miller, Diego Imbert and Rick Margitza and his roots are firmly in Jazz music which he blends with hip hop and electronic music. He has just been awarded the ADAMI JAZZ Talent Award for 2011, which is award by the French Jazz scene to emerging artists.

Yann Lebreuilly is a graduate of Acoustics Engineering He has previous excursions into music production recording alongside Christian Brun under the guise of Sofa Attitude. Their album Urban Love, featured artists such as Guillaume Naturel, Laurent de Wilde, Philippe Bussonnet, Melodiq, Ez Triga and Alex Tassel, with whom he has gone on to form a fantastic production partnership. He has previous releases on Seamless Recordings with his excellent remix of the Milesart Orchestra which was released in 2010.
