Every few days, this elderly lady pedals slowly into our neighborhood on her old three-wheeled bicycle. The front basket is filled with homemade food and snacks neatly packed in small plastic bags. Her face is lined with years of hard work, yet she always greets everyone with the same gentle smile.
She never asks for pity. Only for a fair exchange.
Watching her reminds me that strength isn’t only in youth, it’s in perseverance, dignity, and kindness that never fade.
Being kind to those who still work hard, even in their old age, is a small way to honor a great spirit.
