During the medieval times torture was used frequently, even if there was very little evidence against a suspected criminal they would be brutally tortured in order to confess. The rat torture would truly be a horrific way to die, being sawed in half or even watching someone else been sawed would also have been extremely traumatic, The racks main aim was to completely torture the victim mentally and physically into confessing, and since no one would be around the help the victim after being stretched the pain must have been indescribable. The head crusher was also equally brutal, but for me the one that really makes me cringe is the toe wedging! I cannot imagine how the victim would have felt during that torture! \r
