38TH C'BBEAN CARDIOLOGY CONFERENCE

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in Trinidad and Tobago and across the Caribbean. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Heart Foundation, 33% of deaths in this country are linked to cardiovascular conditions.

In response, the Caribbean Cardiac Society will host its 38th Annual Caribbean Cardiology Conference from July 23rd to 26th at the Hyatt Regency in Trinidad.

This year's theme: "Strengthening Hearts, Empowering Communities."
