GOAVANDZ, - 3 Ninjas Kick Back (video game). 3 Ninjas Kick Back is a great platform for Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega CD platforms. It was released in 1994 and was created by Malibu Interactive. Genesis was released by Psygnosis, while SNES and Sega CDs were released by Sony Imagesoft. The game is based on the film of the same name.

Fifty years ago, a samurai master fought in a ninja tournament to win a magic sword along with an ancient samurai sword, which was probably the key to opening a secret cave full of treasures. After winning the tournament and obtaining a sword, he will be stolen by the main rival, Master Koga. Although the master searched far and wide, he found no sign of Koga or the sword. Now, too old to continue his search, he sends his three young students, the young ninja brothers, Rocky, Colt, and Tum-Tum, to help him obtain a precious sword. If returned to its rightful owner, the sword will be passed on to the younger generation through the winners of the ninja tournament.

There is the first character where one of the three brothers must be chosen as the main character. The game itself is a standard side scrolling platformer. Each of the characters has their own unique weapon. Rocky has bo, Colt uses katana and Tum-tum uses twin sai. Enemies include rebel ninjas working for Kogu, wild animals such as dogs and bats, and dangers such as moving stones and spikes.

There are several levels in the game, each of which consists of small zones. The game continues as the character passes through each zone and reaches the other end. Each level has a small boss whose character must defeat Koga as the last boss. By taking the sword, the character returns to the Japanese master and returns it with his sword set.

The game is based on three different systems: Sega CD, Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The Port Sega CD contains a bonus game: Hook. In a review of SNES 'version, Tommy Glide of GamePro called the game an "below-average platform adventure" that includes the latest generation of graphics and sometimes annoying controls, although he praised and acknowledged the two-player co-op. "Film fans will probably like it."
