29 EXTORTION REPORTS RECEIVED; 1 MAN CHARGED

Twenty-nine reports of extortion have been received by the TTPS for the year thus far, and one man has been charged, with twenty-two offences. This from the head of the Anti-Extortion Unit, ACP Richard Smith, during a walkabout exercise in Chaguanas today. Meantime, Minister in charge of Policing, Keith Scotland, is warning extortionists that they will feel the full brunt of the law. Rynessa Cutting reports.
