21st Century Fox is defending executive chairman Rupert Murdoch after his comments downplaying sexual misconduct at Fox News sparked immediate backlash. In response to Murdoch saying, “That’s all nonsense," to misconduct at the network, a spokesperson said Saturday, "Rupert never characterized the sexual harassment matters at Fox News as ‘nonsense'. Rather, he responded negatively to the suggestion that sexual harassment issues were an obstacle to the Company’s bid for the rest of Sky.
