2024 Toyota Proace + Hilux Preview

With the new Proace Max, Toyota is presenting its first 3.5-ton van in the largest and most versatile segment of light commercial vehicles for Europe. The Proace Max is available in numerous body variants and combines a high payload and class-leading load space volume with performance and efficiency as well as a powerful, robust design. With the Proace Max, Toyota completes its portfolio of light commercial vehicles, which also includes the updated Proace, Proace City and Hilux.

Like all other models in the Proace family - namely the Proace van, the Proace City and the Verso car variants - the Proace Max is also available with a battery-electric drive train. The fully electric version combines a powerful drive with high driving comfort and a high loading capacity. Thanks to a variety of configurations, the electric Proace Max is suitable for every task without sacrificing functionality or reliability.

With the electrification of light commercial vehicles, Toyota is underlining its multi-path technology strategy towards climate neutrality. Toyota believes that both private and commercial customers should have access to a wide range of affordable and practical options to accelerate CO2 reduction and contribute to the transition to zero-emission mobility in the future.

In addition to its excellent performance and transport characteristics, the Proace Max presents itself with a striking exterior design. The expressive front end creates a new identity for the Proace family. This includes a stylish body-coloured upper element that extends around the matt black grille. The full LED headlights underline the purposeful look; the fog lights have an additional turning function that improves visibility when cornering.

The multimedia offer includes a new 10-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch colour TFT instrument display; in the electric variants, the two displays are standard equipment, for the diesel versions they are installed depending on the equipment variant (detailed information on the infotainment and connectivity functions in the Multimedia section below).

To appeal to the widest possible range of customers, the Proace Max offers both factory conversions and bespoke conversions. In addition, a wide range of accessories are available to meet the different needs of users and companies.
