2022 Volvo C40 Infotainment System

The all-electric Volvo C40 Recharge, which was recently awarded the Top Safety Pick+ by the US Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) for its exceptional level of safety, comes with an additional drive variant: As a supplement to the all-wheel drive version, an entry-level model with a 170 kW (231 hp) electric motor and front-wheel drive available. In conjunction with a 69 kWh high-voltage battery, it offers a range of up to 423 kilometers in the combined WLTP cycle. The battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent within 32 minutes at fast charging stations. The starting price for the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric is 48,850 euros (RRP including 19% VAT).

The Volvo C40 Recharge Single Motor Pure Electric expands the all-electric range of the Swedish premium car manufacturer. The company wants to encourage even more people to switch to electromobility. From 2030, only fully electrically powered models will be sold.
