2022 Toyota GR86 Interior Design

With the new GR86, Toyota is introducing its third model from the GAZOO Racing family to be offered worldwide. Together with the GR Supra and the GR Yaris, the GR86 forms a fascinating trio of thoroughbred sports cars. The extensive experience of the factory team TOYOTA GAZOO Racing flowed directly into its development, whose diverse commitment in the top classes of international motorsport is crowned by numerous victories and championship titles.

The new coupe marks the entry into Toyota's GR model range and gives a wider audience access to sporty handling and performance to match. As a logical further development of the predecessor called the GT86, with which Toyota has once again underlined its commitment to sports car construction, the new GR86 is also characterized by the classic configuration of front engine and rear-wheel drive. The engine is still a high-revving four-cylinder boxer, which thanks to a larger displacement can offer a significant increase in output and torque. Further technical modifications to the engine and transmission ensure that this additional potential is reflected in equally powerful acceleration across the entire engine speed range.
