Description
The extensively refreshed model is available now and will be delivered in Germany from mid-2019 (starting price: 27.825 Euro net or 33.112 Euro gross). The new edition of this attractive and versatile flatbed truck scores points in Germany with standard shiftable four-wheel drive with electronic gear ratio selection and is now available for the first time with the sophisticated 2.0-liter EcoBlue turbodiesels.
The exhaust gases are purified by a diesel particulate filter and an SCR catalytic converter with AdBlue injection. Combined with Ford's optional 10-speed automatic transmission, the new Ranger offers fuel savings of up to nine percent compared to its predecessor.
New top engine is now the bi-turbo version of the EcoBlue four-cylinder: This engine mobilizes 156 kW (213 hp) and develops a maximum torque of 500 Newton meters (Nm) - 10 kW (13 hp) respectively 30 Nm more than that TDCi five-cylinder engine with 3.2 liter capacity, which is expected to remain in the program until September 2019.
