This vehicle has last received an update in 2014. It is definitely due for a redesign. After the major failure following the Tribeca model, Subaru lost any chance of taking the three row market for themselves. However, Outback is a serious competitor, and we are looking forward to seeing how it develops over time. The name of course derives from the arid wastelands of Australia, which are known as outbacks.

However, we think that it’s highly unlikely that this platform, which underpins the current Impreza, will find its way to the new Outback model. The headlights and the taillights are most likely going to change as well. They are going to look more rugged, which will make them pretty appropriate for an off-road vehicle. The bumpers are also going to be larger and look more aggressive. As for the grille, we expect it to be bigger and wider.

On the interior, we are likely going to see a set of interesting additions. You can count on a comfortable and spacious environment, that is for certain. Cargo space will take up 35.5 cubic feet, up to a maximum of 73 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.
