Description
There are several changes to the previous model. General Motors’s improved E2XX architecture will underpin the new Insignia. This is one of many things that it’s going to share with its twin, Buick Regal. Aside from the name, the only other difference between the two is going to be the engine. Otherwise, they’re going to be identical. Thanks to this new platform, they are both going to lose as much as 440 pounds of weight, which will result in much better fuel efficiency and performance. The new model is also going to rest on an extended wheelbase. This extension is estimated to be 3.6 inches. The roof is also going to be lowered by an inch. However, you don’t need to worry about space, because seat are going to be lowered by the same amount, which will result in a better driving position.
The interior of the car is going to be reminiscent of the European Opel Astra. It is going to be very elegant and comfortable. 2018 Opel Insignia Grand Sport is also going to have to look sharp and edgy in order to defend its new name. The interior will also be equipped with the latest technology. High-quality leather is going to cover the seats.
