2018 MERCEDES E-CLASS COUPE DESIGN
Following the announcement of the new Mercedes E-Class sedan, the coupe is going to get redone as well. As usual, it is going to share its flowing design language with the previous E-Class model, as well as the C-Class and S-Class. While the general premise of this vehicle will remain the same, the underlying platform will change. This vehicle rode on a similar platform to that of a C-Class, which made both of them substantially smaller than the S-Class. This time however, we can expect to see a much larger vehicle. It is going to move away from the C-Class in terms of size, to provide a more balance choice of vehicles. It is a middle class model after all, and even though it is supposed to be smaller than S-Class, it shouldn’t be the same size as a C-Class.

In fact, it is going to be 4.4-inches longer than the previous model, and also 1.5-inches taller than before. This extended wheelbase will provide more room on the interior, while maintaining the same design language on the exterior. We can also expect the new model to lose some of the details. After all, Mercedes is renowned for their simplistic, yet beautiful design. These detail cuts will just make it look more elegant and streamlined on the outside, while generally retaining the attractiveness of the previous model and its siblings. The diamond grille is also going to find its way back, it might receive an update to its size though. The exterior is going to look pretty smooth.

Aside from the increase in size of the interior, it is going to be equipped with the latest technological features. We expect the luxurious cabin to be a polar opposite of the sporty exterior.
