For our Subcompact SUV Challenge, we brought the 2016 Chevrolet Trax, 2016 Fiat 500X, 2016 Honda HR-V, 2016 Mazda CX-3, 2015 Jeep Renegade, 2015 .
We set a maximum price of $28000, including a destination charge, and each car had to get at least 26 mpg in combined city/highway EPA ratings. Eight SUVs fit .
