2015 Numeral Delivery in Times Square

The giant, seven-foot-tall “15” arrives on a flatbed in Times Square, NYC. The famous numerals are carefully unloaded and brought onto the street for a public unveiling and lighting. Members of the public then have the opportunity to get their photo taken up close with the numerals.

New Year’s 2015 marks the 15th consecutive year that Philips Lighting has served as the official lighting partner to the world-famous Times Square New Year’s Eve – produced by the Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment. Like the “20,” the “15” is illuminated by the same Philips’ outdoor rated BR30 LED bulbs that are available to consumers everywhere Philips lighting is sold.

Tim Tompkins, President of the Times Square Alliance and Jeffrey Straus, President of Countdown Entertainment – co-organizers of Times Square 2015 – are on hand to oversee the arrival. Landmark Signs handle the installation and delivery of the numeral.
