L'issue de cette première édition du cyclo - cross de Vignot (Meuse), organisée par le Véloce Club Commercien, fut incertaine jusqu'au bout. En effet, les deux prétendants à la victoire; Pascal Perrin (ASPTT Nancy; champion de France Masters) et Emeric Choisy (CM Aubervilliers 93) ont mené cette course élite, espoirs, masters à un train d'enfer sur un sol relativement sec.
