What a Beautiful Day

There was a huge ice storm that day and the entire region lost power for 8 days. That’s when I wrote this song.

I did a version of this song with me singing and out of the blue I thought to ask Chris to sing it instead. I am so glad I did. He has such a smooth, great voice. And his guitar playing is outstanding on this song, not to mention the bass. The whole thing came together just right. A very uplifting song.

Here we are right at twenty years later, and I am releasing it as a video on New Year’s Day 2023.
