2002 Subaru Legacy GT Computer p1112 pressure sensor

P1112 code for the Subaru Legacy / Outback. The atmospheric pressure sensor is built into the cars computer (ECM) though most of the time that sensor is not the problem. The Map sensor on the engine can cause it. You can see where it is in the computer and some testing of the pressure sensor. The information in most manuals is a bit vague on diagnosing code P1112. An electronics geek should be able to replace the sensor inside the computer instead of replacing the whole computer.
