2000 Joseph Phelps Le Mistral

This wine is one of Rhone Rangers, in specific, this wine is meant to mimic the blends of the southern rhone. Though getting on in age, I saw it recently at my favorite wine shop locally and had to pick it up and give it a try. If you haven't given Rhone Ranger wines a shot, I highly recommend you do. This practice is actually becoming ever more popular and is spreading successfully to washington state. As a lover of the Rhone Valley, this excites me to no end.
