1MDB delays repaying RM6.1b loan

State owned company, 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) has obtained a second six-month extension to repay a RM6.1 billion Loan. The company had to seek an extension to pay the bridging loan provided by Maybank Investment Bank because of a delay in its plan to list its power assets which was supposed to raise USD2 billion.
