1932 - The Lindbergh Law

http://www.WatchMojo.com looks back at the 20th Century. In 1932, Charles Lindbergh's baby was kidnapped and killed. Bruno Hauptmann was convicted and executed, although he proclaimed his innocence. This prompted the Lindbergh Law which made kidnapping a federal crime.
